And Kurt falling over and being all breathless and Blaine's smug little "we've been through this... You LOVE the blazer..."
Because Colfer's been trying to break Darren the whole time with this skit, and it takes one little moment for Darren to WIN THE WHOLE DAMN GAME. I mean, far out, the sneaky thing knew what he was going to do, you can hear it in his voice. (I'm of the opinion Chris didn't know Darren was going to do it, which makes it all the more hilarious and awesome). Darren fucking broke Chris Colfer and it was AMAZING.
Also Brittana kissed. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Or Heather and Naya. Hnnnnng.

I ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY CANNOT.
Also how brilliant was Colfer's little poem. The growth spurt line and the Emmy thing and "if one more person calls me a stereotype". And "where the hell are all the teachers", oh my god. Just perfect.
Let. Me. Die.
It was a perfect way to end the skit, a perfect way to end the tour, and a perfect way to send fandom absolutely batshit insane for the next two/three months.
Can I just say Darren, man, all the awards, for just being cool with everything, for showing people that it does not matter, that you can kiss whoever you damn well want to kiss whether you're gay or straight or purple or orange or dinosaur or whatever, and if you don't care then why should anyone else. (I know we shouldn't need to give awards to people for not being homophobic, but we do, because said people are often few and far between so it's kind of exciting and a little crey-worthy when it does happen).
I think the reason this was so exciting for everyone is because the Klaine skit constantly works in that grey area of actor and character, so at the same time as it being Kurt and Blaine up there, it is very much Chris and Darren because they improvise and do their thing and be goofballs and try to crack each other up and throw out meta-jokes that would imply that they're not completely Kurt and Blaine. We're often left not entirely sure whether we're watching Klaine or watching the actors, whether it's a Klaine moment or a CrissColfer moment. So when this happened, it wasn't just Klaine kissing, it was in some ways CrissColfer kissing, and whether you ship it or not it's still pretty darn exciting to see the rules bent so far like that.
My shipping heart, for one, is singing and jumping and rewatching it over and over and just marvelling at the tone of fucking love in both of their voices, whether it's the characters or the actors or whatever. I don't doubt that Chris and Darren love each other, not romantically (though we all live in hope...), but as friends or companions or fellow geeks. They work so well together, I can't even get over this or explain it or stop flipping out for long enough to do either of those things in a coherent manner.
I'm going to stop talking now because wow, but THANK YOU CRISSCOLFER, THANK YOU.
