As much as I hate where I am now - I love where I'm going and where I've been. I love dreaming about what's to come and remembering what has passed. My mom told me today to "figure out what I want" ... this will take some work. It's not that I'm sad ... I just feel a little lost, a little out of place, a little ... not myself I guess. But tonight I have no poems to write or stories to tell - today was just another day I guess ... and like everything else time will wash it away. It was a beautiful day today ... I saw a blue bird that was the closest thing to perfection I've ever seen. I can't stop change, I can't change the past, and I can't see the future ... all I can do now is try to grow up and wait for the day things get better but not so intently that I don't see it when it comes. Well, I'll leave you with one last thing that I was going to post on this day along with some other great poems and words but I just left it at this short account of a year ago today without any emotion - which is what I was going for today.
"Well I haven't written like 10 entries everyday like I normally do but I kinda made a my bad - well a little more than a “my bad” but I screwed up. I lied to my mom about where who I was going with Weds. Night and I got caught. I went out with Zach. We went bowling and played one game - 82 to 33; I lost. Then we went to Best Buy and I ran into Ms. Shannon, Ms. Judy, Baby Evan, and Hallie. We just walked around there for a while and then went to Maggie Moos and got “Cherry Wonder” smoothies and I swear I think that banana taste is still in my mouth. We sat outside Maggie Moos until my hands were either blue or purple I couldn’t tell - it was really cold to me. Then we decided to go check out Target for Oompa Loompas, but they didn’t have any. Then we checked Wal-Mart and they didn’t have any so we walked around and looked at EVERY movie and talked about almost everyone that we had or hadn’t seen and then we listened to CD’s forever, and then my mom called and I got caught. I still had an awesome time just hanging out with Zach - would have been better without the getting in trouble part but that’s my fault. O YEA! I found Oompa Loompa candy in Tyler on our way to Dallas this past weekend for Lacrosse and I bought like 10 packages of them! "
