Work has forced a change in morning routine, as summer hours at work require that I wake up almost an hour and a half earlier than I have been in order to get to work. I'm hoping this is a good thing, providing an opportunity for me to do some exercise in the mornings. Sadly it can't be walking the puppies, as in her old age Dulcy is developing some weakness in her legs that makes extra physical activity in the mornings for her unrealistic... also being outside aggravates my allergies during my worst season.
Anyway, I am hoping some physical activity will jump start my metabolism which is stuck in a rut that is keeping me from getting past this plateau in my weight loss.
My May writing deadline (self-imposed) has been a bust. It makes me very sad, but I'm not going to kill myself to try to complete it. June was a dead month deadline wise for writing, so I may just focus on pulling together at least one of my dropped deadlines during June instead. I was planning on participating in JulWriMo... we'll have to see.
Right now I'm rather tired... these hours will take some getting used to. But no cheating on the diet so far, and as part of the rebooting I have actually brought an apple into work. We'll see... I get cranky hungry around 10:30 a.m., maybe I'll stave off lunch hunger with the apple.
