Jacquie's gots herself a job!
FINALLY!!!
I got a call yesterday offering me an interview today. When I was done I walked out, took a deep breath, and headed for my car. As I was pulling out a woman comes running outside, telling me they need me to come back! "Crap," I think. "Was I supposed to sign something? What did I miss?"
< bragging > I missed nothing. The judge and his main assistant wanted to talk to me - yes, I impressed the interviewer that much. < /bragging >
I got home and withing minutes I got a call and got offered the job! Yay! Now I'm happeeeee!!!
Now I have a new problem: my car is broken, so I have to get it fixed, or I need to find a new car. And I start on Monday. Well, like Jenn pointed out, I can easily get a rental until I get my own transportation. Yay!
And here's even better news: I get every other Friday off, so ladies and gentlemen, I can take the plane and go spend a convention in MD for the weekend. I'd just have to fly back on Sunday. Woo!
