(no subject)
So Arthur and I discussed moving to Iceland last night; not that would happen anytime soon, I still have a year left of my BA and then at least another year on education. Without trying to sound all doomsday-y I think it's a good idea. But yes, I've been reading Iceland's wiki page and it's quite interesting.
I woke up super early this morning and it was wonderful. I miss the days of summer when I'd get up early, drink a cup of tea while the sun came in through the big picture window. It's so nice to see something that isn't fifty feet of snow. Today I plan to do some work on my seminar presentation, figure I'll read Marilyn Lerch's other book Moon Loves its Light and probably start on some Jeanette Lynes. Took Monday and Tuesday off as me days so I need tog et myself in gear - one week til my presentation and I haven't even got all the source material read. Shame!
On the personal reading front, I'm still slogging through Beautiful Creatures. I don't want to say it's bad per se. It's just slow and anti-climatic and long. We shall see how I feel once I finish it, that is, if it even has an end.
