BaCC Week 1: The White Family

Jul 03, 2011 00:56

The last family of the first week consists of June White, the town's (very bored) Pleasure sim. Life without electronics is proving very hard for June. She's managed to find some entertainment though. She was always over at the Ewings' when I played them, now it's Wallis who's always over at June's:

They are amazingly cute together. They hardly look at anyone else, despite June being Pleasure and Wallis being Romance. Come week 2 I might make an official couple of them, even if I don't really like tying down my Romance sims (it feels mean). Wallis practically lives at June's anyway, so I don't see why not.

He really does make himself at home there, sleeping over without being asked etc. Seriously, at one point he stayed for almost three days.

He's not too fond of her cooking though :D

Wallis is lying next to you, isn't he?

June: Yes indeedy!

Meanwhile, in the living room...

Lawrence: C'mon Darin, gotta train for that championship!

Oh lordy, this sport has taken on a life of its own in my game.

Lawrence: What's that tingly feeling?

Lawrence: Oh, I see!

Sometimes I really love ACR. Because these two are perfect for each other, and I wanted them to be a couple, but didn't want to force the matter.

Town Sport: The Championship Rounds, complete with audience.

The town gathers at June's all the time (mostly because without other sims around, she gets bored out of her skull, so she always prowls the sidewalk to haul someone in). Everyone except Peggy, that is. I was starting to worry that my freshly downloaded Nighttime Walkby-mod didn't work.

June: I just woohoo'ed your roommate!
Lawrence: TMI D:

Could it be? A new branch within The Town Olympics? Something besides Kicky Bag that they find interesting..!?

Nevermind...

Pleasure sims without hot tubs or tvs... poor thing. I seriously struggled to keep her happy whenever Wallis wasn't around to date.

Keeping the sidewalk under surveillance clearly isn't without its dangers.

June: It's staring at me, isn't it.

Yes, yes it is.

Too cute for words. (So I guess not all that cute, since I had some words..? Augh, logic fail.)

Ah, the Town Newspaper Thief. Some action for you June! Get out on the sidewalk!

Gossiping about the town outcast (who still hasn't showed up!) is Not A Very Nice Thing, June!

June: But it's so fun!

Hrmph.

June: Hey Josie, guess what!?
Josephine: What! What!

June: PEGGY!
Josephine: OMGLOL I KNOW RITE!

Grr.

June: Whaaat? A little gossiping never hurt anyone.

Yeah. You tell that to...

PEGGY!!! JUNE! Sidewalk duty, RIGHT NOW.

Peggy: Another sim! Thank you sim god!
Me: You are very welcome dearie.

June: I am not amused.

I am :D Now get chatting and entertaining and playing!

Town Sport TO THE RESCUE! I've never been so happy to see a Kicky Bag, sniff :'D And yes, they did manage to become friends during that single night, hurray!

Oh but who will June gossip about now..?

June: Hey Josie? Guess what? STRAY DOGGIE!
Josephine: GIGGLESNORT.

Aaaand that concludes Week 1 in... - oh gosh. I just realised I don't have a name for my town D: Urrh. I'll think of something. Anyway. Important happenings:

Lawrence unlocked water and electricity, so next week they'll all have phones and whatnot. Yay!

Peggy FINALLY showed up on a residential lot, proving that the mod worked, woho! Also, with phones, she'll be able to invite sims and be invited. This is HUGE progress (for me), much more important that TVs and showers (though I think June disagrees).

I'm supposed to have some official stats too, aren't I. That ... will have to wait. My note-taking wasn't very good at this point in the gameplay, as it's my first time playing a BaCC. But there hasn't been a lot of progress anyway, so.  Until next time!

bacc, june white
