NyanType Magazine 2
The second issue of Newtype's new competition to Megami magazine Nyantype is out now. & in honor of the second season of Haruhi Suzumiya, Haruhi graces the front cover! There's also lots of Haruhi coverage in issue itself. This second issue of Nyantype is also the first issue to include a double-sided poster, just like Megami usually has. So naturally with all the Haruhi goodness in this issue, she has to be on at least one side right?
F#%k it's Nanoha! You ruin everything for me!! Yup, the magical girl series gets both sides, which I guess is to be expected. After all, the first Nanoha movie is right around the corner, & Nyantype does serialize the official sequel manga Lyrical Nanoha Force. Interesting note while we're on the topic, though. Just like current day Megami, Nyantype doesn't allow full blown nudity in its magazine. Case in point, an article about Juden-chan in this issue has its pictures censored to cover the bad stuff that's visible in the actual anime. So explain to me how the Nanoha Force manga is able to show completely uncensored nudity in the same exact issue?
Not only does Nanoha steal the limelight, but the picture of Haruhi on the cover in a wet t-shirt isn't even an actual poster in this issue. It only appears on the side of the page on a Haruhi article. Gee, thanks Nyantype! At least there are still good posters in this issue nonetheless. Highlights below:
