Megami Magazine 106

This month, the cover of Megami Magazine issue 106 is controversial anime slut "Kannagi." There is a special section in this March 2009 issue devoted exclusively to its anime series, but Kannagi didn't get the large pullout poster treatment. Instead we got a double sided pencil board of the series, an otaku item I never felt interested in enough to collect. Now when Megami includes a pencil board in their issues, that usually means no giant pullout poster that month. Not so this time, however. & I was very pleased to discover that they're continuing their recent actions to include higher profile anime for the big posters rather than just the typical moe/bishoujo/fan-service series, as they've previously done with Code Geass & Gurren Lagann. See what I mean, along with the Kannagi boards, below:

Yup, a Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0 poster, featuring Asuka & Rei! A very nice looking poster at that. Can't wait for Asuka's triumphant return to the franchise. This actually isn't the first time Eva's had a poster in Megami. Back when the magazine first came out in 1999, Asuka & Rei graced a poster then as well. But I believe this is the first time since then. The other side of the pullout poster is of Clannad After Story, natch. See highlights of some of the other posters below:
