Conan Voice Actress & Creator Divorce
Japanese voice actress Minami Takayama, who plays the voice of Conan in Detective Conan, & manga-ka Gosho Aoyama, who's the creator of the Detective Conan manga, have recently divorced after being married for about two and a half years. The two had previously met years before while Takayama was playing the lead character in another series created by Aoyama, "Yaiba." Back in March 2005, she "reverse-proposed" to him.
But the "Wedding of the Conans" came to an abrupt end earlier this month. There was no comment given to the nature of the breakup or why it had happened.
