Unedited Vampire Bund Release Confirmed
One month ago I wrote a piece questioning the status of FUNimation’s release of Dance in the Vampire Bund. Well, question no more. Funi is indeed prepping a release for the Vampire Bund. & yes, it will be completely unedited.
After nearly a year of not saying anything, FUNimation published its list of June releases, & Vampire Bund was on that list. Twice, actually. Bund will be released in a DVD/Blu-ray combo format, both in a regular version for $64.98 & limited edition version for $69.98. What extra goodie that will come with the limited version is not yet known, though I am intrigued. Regardless, FUNimation has FINALLY come out & said that both versions will be completely uncut. It’s about time too, as we had been left in the dark for oh so long. & judging by the cover they decided to go with, they’re even promoting its loli erotic nature. Quite a turnaround from a year ago they said they would only be releasing an edited version of the series. Relax, anime fans. We can breathe easy now.
