Saimoe 2010: Koromo vs Saten
Winner: Koromo (Saki)
Yesterday the dark horse lost, & today the leader horse lost. Saten, who ruled over most of the tournament this year with her high vote counts, was defeated by the loli mahjong player Koromo. Now she’ll go head-to-head against Nagi in the semifinals. Here’s how things went down:

1st 931 Koromo Amae @ Saki
2nd 825 Ruiko Saten @ A Certain Scientific Railgun
What a matchup we have here! A flat-chested loli versus gigantic breasts, as Shana takes on Nodocchi! Both of them have made the semifinals once before, & now one of them will be making it again. With this battle, Nodoka becomes the only character in Saimoe history to face off one-on-one against all four of the Rie Kugimiya tsunderes. Last year she managed to beat both Nagi & Louise, but ultimately lost to Taiga in the semifinals. Now, she faces off against the original & most powerful of them all- Shana the Flame Haze. Both girls are among my picks to win this year, but Shana ranks two spots above Nodoka in my book. Not to mention that Shana has been after this crown for much longer, so she definitely deserves to finally have it. I have little doubt that Shana's fanbase is bigger than Nodoka's. The question is if Shana's fanbase is bigger than her anti-fanbase. Many might view her as too much of a threat, so voters may come out of the wood-works to make sure she loses here before getting any further. Still though, I'm predicting her to win this, & as much as I like Nodocchi, I really hope Shana does.
