Saimoe 2010: Round 1, Day 13
Winners: Maria (Hayate), Koromo (Saki)
Pretty predictable results, with two really strong veterans doing really well in their first round back. On the one side you got a girl who looks & acts a lot older than she really is, while on the other you got a girl who looks & acts a lot younger than she actually is!
As expected, Maria'a biggest challenge was her co-star (& much cuter) Sakuya. But she still got beat by over 100 votes. The other group was a bit closer, with Nozomi from "Stray Cats Overrun" trying to challenge Koromo. However, Koromo still got more votes than anyone else in the past few days. Sadly, by beloved Akari from "Nyan Koi" came in dead last. ;;_;; Full results:

Today is a huge day for "Railgun" fans! Both Uiharu & Kuroko get to compete in separate groups! Both will most likely win, though unfortunately they'll have to take out two other favorites of mine to do it. Uiharu particularly has it tough by going up against strong characters from both "Saki" & "Hayate," so it wont be that easy for her. In particular she's facing my absolute favorite "Hayate" girl, the lovely Izumi. I'm still expecting Uiharu to win, & since I like Uiharu it wouldn't be too bad, but I really want it to be Izumi. But with three really strong characters going at it, who knows how this will turn out.
Kuroko's victory is a bit more secure. Not only is she probably a more popular character overall, but her competition isn't quite as strong. She too will have to face a "Hayate" girl, though she's not one of the more popular ones. Kuroko also has to face my favorite "Haruhi" girl, Tsuruya-san, so it'll be sad to lose her in the first round as well. In the end, the lesbian loli should have this one in the bag.
