yeah, I'd probably blame the Rapelay bullshit myself. Japanese sexuality gets some negative publicity, and next thing you know, the sponsors to half the manga sites are suddenly being wary (sure, like hosting unauthorized copies of thousands of comics wasn't already a shady practice, but they probably look at it as shoplifting a $5 item, and then shooting a cop in the process... or maybe I should say raping an underdeveloped cop). I gotta say, with there being enough of a crack-down that even lighter ecchi manga such as Omamori Himari barely have a home on the internet, I'll be damned if the same happens with Sankarea.
And no, I never saw Aki-Sora on Onemanga (though it too is available on e-hentai). I even recall putting it in the search engine (their search engine, of course, having that convenient scroll-down menu that reduces as you type in more matching letters), along with other Champion Red manga I'd heard about like Yomeiro Choice, even the infamous Seikon no Qwaser, and they didn't show up. I did, however, see Vita Sexualis on Mangafox at one point, but I think it's been removed now.
Well, I just thought that whole thing was so ******* pointless. Why must we waste time on that? Japan had better things to do with their time.
Half of even one letter of all manga won't ever come to any other country. So like I said, don't keep history on me and I'll use a professional manga site.
I was thinking more along the lines of the Chris Handley case. Rapelay was really only a problem on Japan's front, but here in the US the Handley case is the source of all the negativity & timidness for anime & manga.
