Konami was on hand at Comic-Con this weekend, & they had Yu-Gi-Oh out in full force. The biggest surprise was that they had an American trailer for the
10th Anniversary Yu-Gi-Oh movie, confirming the earlier report that 4Kids had indeed
licensed the film. The trailer was filmed (with permission) & can be seen above.
The movie itself will be released in select US theaters in the Spring of 2011, & will indeed be in 3D. A preview for it will be screened at the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championships in Long Beach, CA from August 14-15. It was also confirmed by the Konami staff that the US version will contain "new relevant additional footage" that wasn't in the Japanese version. Perhaps they'll explain just what the heck happened to Jaden after season 3 of GX, since dub-viewers
wouldn't know.
