The Misato Katsuragi News Project that launched on the PS3 mid last year will be closing shop soon. The Nerv News organization will cease broadcasting to Japanese Playstation owners on June 5, about one full year after the program launched.

Considering the unique synthetic voice generated program was pretty much entirely meant to be an advertisement for Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0, it's more surprising that it's been going on for this long at all, rather that it will be coming to an end. Of course though they're still keeping it up long enough to advertise for the Evangelion 2.22 DVD/BR release, which goes on sale in Japan on May 26.
