Megami Magazine 115
While our Nyantype Magazine Contest is going on, let's take a look at another magazine with very similar content. The final issue of 2009 is here for Megami Magazine, & on the cover this time around is one of the most controversial series of the year- Haruhi season 2. There was once again no giant pullout poster this month, but rather it included a special Haruhi book-within-a-book feature. It covers both seasons of the anime series with tons of lovely pictures & information, & it even talks about the upcoming Disappearance Movie a bit too. It also has 4 postcard featuring Haruhi poster art from Megami issues of the past & present. & the cover for the Haruhi section is absolutely stunning:
Tastefully beautiful Haruhi aside, this was definitely one of the ecchiest issues of Megami in recent memory. Most of the credit for that goes to its manga section as well as coverage of the recent Kanokon OVAs. Check out this spread on the matter. This is pretty much the most nudity one can get away with in Megami these days. Heck, it's actually more than I thought they could get away with, what with areola being in plane sight over & over again:
& a To Love-ru one for good measure as well. But it wasn't just the article on Kanokon. There was quite the poster for it as well, as can be seen by the nice collection below. Personal favs include Kanokon, Koihime Musou (O_O), Scientific Railgun, Needless, & NyanKoi:
