Japan's YouTube-Playing Microwave

Dec 12, 2009 23:32

Japan has come out with a brand new microwave that's sure to be huge in this ADD-ridden world that modern technology has created. Called the CastOven, this ingenious work of art plays YouTube videos that are exactly as long as the time you set the microwave to cook for. So if you put in a frozen dinner for 3:45, it'll find you a popular YouTube vid that's exactly three minutes & forty-five seconds long. No more waiting around being bored while waiting for your food to cook anymore!

The CastOven was one of the big winners in a recent tech exhibit in Japan, so it's still in the early stages of being development. So with it not even being available to Japanese consumers yet, who knows when (if ever) this thing will see the light of day in the US.
