the gas dillema
So I go to fill up my car this morning and pull into the gas station.
I use my gas card.
Hit the '87 gas. Should be pumping at $2.69 a gallon. As I'm pumping I take a closer look. It's pumping at $0.269 a gallon.
I filled up my tank for $2.58. Yes 8 gallons of gas for TWO DOLLARS and 58 CENT.
So then I was like.... Shit. I could leave, or I could possibly be busted for "stealing gas" on the idiot as the gas pump's error.
So I went in and told the manager and decided to be the good guy. Told him i pumped the gas and they had the price wrong.
The manager started freaking out and screaming SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!!
So I waited for him to fix the error and was hoping he'd let me go because I was so nice. He made me pay the extra $20 for gas. Oh well.
I did a good deed, I think. But I'm sure there were other people before me who took off and robbed the dude blind.
