Impending birthday
so tomorrow is the remembrance of the birth of me. I'll be an awesome 34 years old. Awesome in that I won't be 35!!
So this weekend was a celebration of sorts with my family. We ate at Shane's barbecue shack (which is probably the best chain barbecue joint around). We had some coupons and it was also customer appreciation month at the Shack, so we saved an additional 20% of the meal as well.
We fed a family of 8 for $40. That is what you call coupon magic. I had a good time.
My parents gave me a best buy card so I was able to buy DRAGON WARRIOR IV for the Nintendo DS.
My sister bought me Oasis' new CD (which is pretty darn good).
and I had cake. Whoever doesn't like birthdays, obviously doesnt like cake. Because I'm of the opinion that CAKE makes everything better. Especially birthdays.
In less exciting news, I'm getting my brakes fixed on my car today. Not everything is great during a birthday weekend I suppose.
