Dinosaur Bones
Heather had Saturday off! Hurray. That meant an entire weekend of family fun time.
Saturday we went to the Natural Science Museum of North Carolina in Raleigh. There was a Dinosaur exhibit there we wanted to see, because we thought Phineas would enjoy the "Rawrs".
We get to the museum, but accidently go to the wrong one! We step into the Museum of Natural History instead of the Museum of Natural Science! Doh!
Luckily the Science museum was next door.
So we step across the street and into the Natural Science museum. The dinosaur exhibit cost $8 per person, and the rest of the museum was free. Phineas had a great time looking at the stuffed animals in the museum. The dinosaur exhibit didn't impress him that much though. Oh well. He still had fun... and it was great way for him to walk his legs.
The best part of the Dinosaur exhibit was looking at the excavations in China. Very cool stuff.
Overall, What was awesome was that they had a food joint inside of the museum. This place was 4 floors of fun. There was also a butterfly room there, where real insects thrive. Also they had a live sloth! Yes a 3-toed Sloth! Cool.
Good times on Saturday. After the museum everyone went home and had a 3-hour nap.
