After two and a half years of procrastinating, I finally got my cat Samoa in to be spayed and microchipped. And I *know* it's the right thing to do, and it'll eliminate her hormonal "I wanna MAAAANN!" issues, but I feel terrible putting her through all this stress, especially since I can't explain it to her in any useful language ( Read more... )

It's been an interesting few days.  I'm working on writing a class "Dealing with Bullies, real and virtual" for Saturday.  I've been wrestling with trying to keep the scope reasonable, and the brain side trying to remind the emotional side that I can't solve the whole issue of bullying in one 90-minute class.  And of course there's the flashbacks ( Read more... )
