When I was in elementary school, I had D'Aulaires' Greek Mythology, and LOVED it.  When I was 9, my Grandmother got me Bullfinch's Mythology, and I adored it.  Devoured it.  Considered most of the characters to be my personal friends.  Last year, when I dug it out of a box somewhere and started re-reading it, I was surprised.  I found it highly ( Read more... )
