Diggin' in the dirt

I got to spend a good portion of Sunday diggin' in the dirt in my garden, and unleashing doom and destruction on weeds and dead plants.

There's something just...so...SATISFYING about that deep "THUP" of an invasive weedy taproot finally letting go.

Every muscle in my body aches (plus, oddly, my fingernails) but it's a GOOD ache.
