Goodness, I have not been on here in ages! It is extraordinary how quickly time seems to pass. Just the other day Simon and I were talking on the phone, and he asked, "Do you remember back on the Dai-Gurren, when we used to talk to everyone from those other fandoms on Brawl? I miss it. I bet it's changed a lot in seven years."
I am sure the people I knew back then have all gone, and I am very sorry I did not keep in contact. The fault is entirely mine. Many of you probably do not know who I am, so I will introduce myself: my name is Nia Teppelin, and I am from the Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann fandom. Well met, fellows.
Just the other day I received a very peculiar letter. It was unsigned, but the return address was for the "President Simon Appreciation Society". It said the following:
Nia Teppelin,
Leave the President alone and go back where you came from, beast-bitch. Kamina City is better off without you.
I do not understand. There is no more Teppelin, and we built Kamina City on Teppelin's ruins. How can I go back to Teppelin, if I am in some way still here? Also, although my father created the beastmen, he and my mother were both human, and so I, too, am a human. It is not possible for me to be a "beast-bitch" and human at the same time.
The writer had very lovely penmanship, however. I wrote back to the return address--I do hope that was the sender's proper address--inviting him or her to tea next Saturday, and asking him or her to clarify his or her statements then.
