Well met, everyone! I see there are new people joining us. It's nice to meet you! My name is Nia and I'm the head chef on the Dai Gurren Dan's flagship, the Dai Gurren.
The cruise ship's crew was gracious enough to let me borrow a kitchen. I wanted to make something special for Soran and Allelujah-san, so I decided to bake them a cake! I've made cupcakes before, but I've never made a cake. It was mostly very similar, but the cake was a lot more work. I don't mind, though! I had a lot of fun making it. Naturally, everyone else on the ship with us may have some as well.
The cake itself is chocolate and the frosting is vanilla. The icing is designed to look exactly like the Dai Gurren Dan's flag. I would have drawn a Gundam, but I wasn't quite sure exactly how it would look, and I know the flag design by heart. If you'd rather something else, though, please let me know.
Aniki, future Yoko-san, future Kittan-san, Rossiu, future Lina-san, future Edward-san, future Alphonse-san...I'm sorry I'm not home right now. But I'll be back before long! How is Soot doing? Please tell her I'm sorry I couldn't bring her with me.
[Behold my birthday cake! I made it. Well, Asuka made it. But I did all of the really tough stuff like DECORATING IT. Phew! GURREN CAKE IS GO.]
