Sunday Update
I am on a "new" laptop right now.
And I only slightly like it.
I bought it for a song from my uncle and the computer is fine, really, there are just small detail items about it that I do not like at all. It is much faster than mine, but it is not mine, you know? It is also lacking Word which really makes it almost useless to me except for getting online.
I really want my old laptop back because over the 2 years I had it, it was really mine. This new one is... not. But, hey, I cannot really complain, can I? I have the internet in my room again and that was what I really wanted.
My uncle also told me the guy who fixed this one can take a look at mine, as well. That will be the first thing I act on once I have my next paycheck and pay off my Christmas shopping.
I have a lot to do today. I want to wash my car and complete the cleaning preocess that I began last week when I completely cleaned her out, shop vac used on every inch, even. Some birds decided to bomb my poor baby yesterday when I was at work -- yeah, working (not in retail) on a Saturday; that's what happens -- so that needs to be removed. I am also going to try go get a coat of wax on that poor car, too. Driving 35 miles to work and 35 back will mean a lot of salt, so I would like to get a layer of protection or two on there.
After the car is taken care of, and nearly winterized (oil change and snow tires are next), I am coming inside and baking peanutbutter cookies and brownies that will be sent to San Diego tomorrow with an "overnight" sticker attached.
Then, this week I work all of two days, then get my little Thanksgiving Vacation! Now that I think about it, I may want to wash my car on Friday instead.... nah, who knows what the weather will be like, today the sun is out again.
Ok, time for some breakfast and to start my day.
PS, does anyone know a good "add blocker" out there? The anti-virus/internet protection on this laptop does not have one.
