I just ran 3.5 miles.

And I am sneezing like crazy, shivering, sweating, and hot as hell. I hate it when my body kicks into "what the hell did you just do?"-recovery mode.

I have yet to measure that distance with my car, but I know it is more than 3.2 miles. Maybe it is 3.4. But It is further than I have ever run before! Bring on the 5k!

If I could run that twice a week and still throw in a Billy Blanks workout or 2, I think I would definately slim down some more. I do not have a fat complex, but the saddlebags are there and I want them GONE. They are not obvious (to anyone else) yet, but I want them to vanish from my sight.

I have to be careful with the running, though, because I have bad knees and running would definately do some irreverable damage if I am not careful. That is why I think I am going to end up only running once a week. However, I think that if I keep making the distance that I run longer and longer, I will still get the results I want.

I am going to buy the new Billy Blanks DVD set, I think. Come next paycheck, we will see. I got a little bit of overtime, maybe I can put that to use there.

I feel silly talking about using Billy Blanks, because, well, he does infomercials and it seems almost wrong to be one of those people on the commercial yelling "it really worked for me!"

But... it really did. I am very happy with the set I have now, and I am actually dying to get my hands on the new series he has made.

NOTE: I got inside 20 minutes ago, and I am red in tha face. No, really, I am lobster, tomato, stop sign RED. Damn. I can picture the 5k now, Jenna and I trying to convince Jeremy that I don't need a doctor. Because, really? It looks like I need one right now.
