Summer in Familiarity (Pt. Two)
Continuing the Summertime rotation to introduce the current households of Familiarity.
Familiar Household #3 - Cael and Amaya, Dov and Elle +1 Elijah
This household was begun last generation with Cael and Amaya Familiar, they are passing it on to their son Dov and his wife current legacy spare Elle. Neither Elle nor Dov had to change their last name when they married, but they aren't that closely related it's just the way it worked out. Dov and Elle are fourth cousins, with Dov coming down from Al and Elle from Abe.
I already talked a little about Dov and Elle's wedding and their son Elijah, I won't get into much more here as I'll be touching on things at their house somewhat in chapter 25.
Elle did manage to get her 'extended honeymoon on a marvelous beach somewhere' just as the life plan called for, which is probably the reason why the life plan was in need of adaptation since Elijah was conceived on said honeymoon. If they hadn't taken a honeymoon she might have gotten a few more days of working in before the lullaby occurred. Actions have consequences etcetera, etcetera.
They managed a fairly large family gathering during the weekend. Getting a bit into play style I do these gatherings at just about every house at some point during their turn, the only time I might miss a weekend gathering would be if the family has had multiple parties during the week for other events such as birthdays, or if everyones work schedules are such that a full gathering isn't really possible. If the later is the case they will still have smaller gatherings throughout the week. Elle and Dov manage to get a pretty big group together considering that she has five siblings and he has three. Once everyone in the group is fairly well acquainted we'll mix it up a bit add in a variety of cousins and other friends. For this weeks party there was only one child in attendance, Dryas and Talin's son Eureka as more babies become children the weekend parties are the time that they get to know their own 'first circle'.
Elle's life plan is due for another adaptation the next time I play the house.
Familiar Household #4 - Caleb and Cassia, Dracula and Dyan
This household originated with Bob and Sierra, they passed it to son Boris and his wife Ellen who in turn passed it to Caleb and Cassia. It's now being passed to eldest son Dracula and his wife Dyan (Dreamer). Bob and Sierra lived in the household up until Dracula and brother Damien were born at which point four generations under the same roof was too crowded for comfort. While Bob and Sierra don't recognize their great and great-great grandchildren as 'family' I've made it a point to keep them all close and to continue to keep Bob and Sierra up to date and friendly with each new generation in town. They are invited and attend most evening gatherings.
Boris was the last remaining generation four in the hood, I didn't plan it that way or keep him alive artificially long in order to have him involved in the plot it just worked out that way. I'm glad that it did. While Boris wasn't my favorite sim of his generation I have a deep appreciation of his facial animation and it's ability to bring levity to various situations. He was more than ready to go with Grim and join his Ellen.
Dracula is a pleasure seeker that intends to become a celebrity chef and Dyan is a popularity sim that is joining the family law firm; she's the daughter of Banard Dreamer alien offspring of Darren. Dracula and Dyan are going to be interesting to play, they are very similar in personality neat, shy, active, playful and MEAN. Dyan in particular is a prankster that likes to stir up trouble. She'll gossip about anyone and anything. She was one of the sims that lived in Almeric Davis's dorm and went back and forth between fighting with him and flirting with him.
Since Drac's mother Cassia is on the Criminal Mastermind bowling team we went ahead and did an afternoon wedding though the party continued through the evening and Bob and Sierra were summoned to join in promptly at seven pm. As of this point there is no child in their immediate future, they continually rolled high on all scales. I don't mind high rollers, high rolls just keep the population down a bit though I wouldn't mind them having at least one child since between them there would be a possibility of bringing back full alien genetics as well as having plenty of other recessive genes available. He's got Bob's red hair gene and she's got a blond from her mother.
Dreamer Household #2 - Draco and Danya (Familiar) Dreamer +1 Electra Dreamer
This will be the first generation for this household. The second of Carlise Dreamer's alien twins Draco managed to snag one of the prettiest (in my opinion) girls of the generation Dov's older sister Danya. While the Indie girls of several households hold the top honors their looks are more due to pretty template faces. Danya on the other hand represents a combination of six generations of nice looking non face ones. Draco and twin Drago aren't bad for aliens, they were lumpy faced as toddlers and kids but grew into their faces more as adults and neither have the bug eyes.
We'll see how they genes meld together after daughter Electra grows up a little bit. Electra was born on the very last day of the families rotation so she's still an infant. At this point her genetics point to being more from her Mom than her Dad.
To celebrate Electra's birth Draco and Danya held a weekend gathering that included not only both of their families but both of the party houses. Without really thinking about it I did an invite household to Danya's sister Delilah and called all the romancing females over so to make things a bit balanced and to give safe targets to everyone we also invited the party boys.
The gathering lasted well into the evening and Electra got to meet not only Uncle Drago but also was given a bath by party boy Donovan London. I wondered for a bit if he was trying to tell me that he wants kids of his own but I doubt that's the case, he wants 20 loves no strings attached.
Nova Household - Chay and Demi, Dane (Young) and Denise +1 Elise Nova
Household originated with Amy Familiar and Gunnar Roque and was passed to their daughter Bea Familiar and her husband Castor Nova. It was then passed to son Chay and his wife generation five spare Demi. They are passing the household to daughter Denise and husband Dane. I decided that Dane would take Denise's name in hopes of the Nova name not dieing out. While there is a slight possibility that Delphy will have a child it's not a given, and I'm assuming that Dane's brother Donar and his husband Joshua will provide at least one child to continue the Young name at their house.
I haven't really done a lot with Dane and Denise's relationship it's one of those things that got edged out by plot in chapter 24. Denise will tell you that that's one of the problems with being the spare of a spare. Dane was however Denise's first boyfriend and first kiss. I really didn't expect their relationship to continue past high school and there were plenty of doubts during their earlier college years as well. Denise dated several other guys both in high school and in college and Dane wasn't being much more definite than she. It boiled down to Denise having three primary options and so we got her together with all three of them at the same time and she choose Dane over the others.
While I had my doubts about the two of them I'm glad it worked out the way it did, they are a fun and interesting couple. Denise is fortune and wants to be a Mad Scientist, Dane is pop and already perma plat from making his 20 best friends early in college, he now wants to be an athlete which suits him as both Dane and Denise are sports enthusiasts. They are fairly similar in personality Dane's meaner but Denise is neater.
Dane's not quite as dumb as he appears but he has a weirdly spacey look in his eyes that makes me think he kinda lives in his own little world. Denise and Dane got a Twikki honeymoon, all of the 'primary' couples that weren't pregnant at the time of their weddings got some type of trip. Denise had to explain to Dane what that music they heard in the photo booth was, I imagine it was an interesting discussion.
He eventually got the picture and seemed quite excited over the prospect of a baby. I originally left the household with Denise very pregnant but while playing the next one she waddled by and stood at the mailbox rubbing her back while glaring at the camera. It made me feel guilty so I went back and played them an extra day.
As my reward they presented me with the first 'primary' household girl. Welcome to the World Elise Nova!
Gilscarbo Household - Drucilla (Indie) and Goopy Gilscarbo
First generation for this household and before anyone gasps or gives me a hard time about it remember who I started this legacy with! I have a major soft spot for the Goopster so no insults please. :)
Drucilla Indie ranks in my top ten for the generation and she's pretty close to being in the top five. Very similar to heiress Emma so maybe I just love Dru cause she's Emma without the more rigid legacy strictures. Dru is the youngest daughter of Caleb and Pamela Indie making her Elliot's sister in law. She's a pleasure seeker and like heiress Emma originally rolled up bi, in fact they had bolts for each other at one point. Also like Emma she decided to go straight and dated 'cousin' Devon London for awhile until that greedy wench Dia struck her claws into Dev.
I was intending for Dru to remain unmarried and to go live with the party girls since most of her romantic inclinations were for romancing males. But then she spun up the want for Goopy and like the true hidden family sim he is he reciprocated the want to get engaged without holding the fear for it.
Once the graduating and moving in was taken care of sending the two of them on a date rolled up reciprocating wants to get married without fears of marriage, so yeah Goops now Romance/Family which should be interesting to see played out. Very high voltage three bolt stalkers; Drucilla has been overweight since she was a teen and never needed wanted a body skill point or to get fit. Goopy like heavy women so that wasn't a problem but he was in the athletic track and while waiting for his preferred culinary job to become available he went ahead and did some body work which caused Dru to stalk him and autonomously get fit while riding the exercise bike that was beside his weight bench. I left Drucilla pregnant so we'll see what happens when the 'pretty' Indie genes slam up against the Goopsters genes. I predict cuteness.
Familiar Household #5 - Chip and Colette, Darius, Darcy and Evan +2 Eirlys and Emrys Familiar
The household was originally begun by Aaron and Tiffany Familiar and was passed to their son Barclay and wife Meadow. It was then passed on to son Chip and his wife Colette who are the current elder generation. Of their three sons the household has been passed to eldest Darius and his wife Darcy (London).
We talked about Darius and Darcy's wedding in one update and introduced first son Evan in the last baby spam as an infant.
This go around Evan grew up twice! Personality wise Evan is a throw back to his London and Dreamer ancestors he's a Scorpio 10/6/10/0/3. Looks wise he's a good combination of all genes, I see a bunch of his Dad's looks in him which means he's got the 'pretty' genes passed down from Great-Grandmother Meadow.
His welcome wagon was courtesy of Edam Smith and the two boys bonded over fishing. The chess table would have worked just as well but Evan would have cheated continually, besides with so many serious kids in the hood this go round I'm figuring logic will be maxxing out with no help from me, I hate to force skill them when there are other alternatives available Evan wanted to fish and to make a friend two birds one stone.
Family sim twin 'curse' strikes again and we welcomed Emrys and Eirlys to the family. Yay another girl! I can handle twins as long as their are some girls in the mix. Emrys is an Aries 3/10/7/0/10 another serious tyke looking like his Daddy and Eirlys is taking after Mom in appearance but she's the one that grabbed Aaron's happy go lucky Capricorn personality or as close to it as I think I'm gonna get at this point 10/3/3/10/9 a little bit lazy and a little bit shy but she'll be fascinated with tubs either cleaning them or playing in them.
Summerdream Household - Switch from Familiar - Betsy Familiar, Cooper and Kitty Familiar; Puck, Dorme, Egeus Summerdream +1 Emilia Summerdream
The household originally formed by Benjamin Familiar and his Servo bride Betsy which was then passed to one of Ben's alien sprongs Cooper and his wife Kitty the Streaker. It's now been passed to their daughter Dorme and her husband Puck and changed in last name from Familiar to Summerdream. Hands down favorite household to play for a variety of reasons.
It's not just the adorableness of Puck and Dorme, nor the cuteness of Egeus that makes this house fun. It's not even the multitude of spit takes that I get from Kitty's nekkidness. It's all of that but it's also the odd things that just seem to happen around here.
I'd actually only seen this in Toast's apocalypse before never in my game. But Ben was out haunting and caught his wife in bed with her current flame Adam. She got the cheated memory and even had a get slapped icon showing but Ben's ghost never actually slapped her. I was quite amused. Betsy and Adam may very well be getting married and starting their own household at some point during this generation as they've been an item for awhile now, I'm just not sure what to do with them if they do move out of their respective homes and get married.
Ben didn't take well to being cheated on and he went on a bit of a rampage which almost got him moved to the cemetery. A few scares a few puddles don't bother me but dang it Ben, Dorme's pregnant!
Multiple pregnancies were the topic of discussions at the family gathering that weekend, Elle and Emma kept having to fight over the toilets. After several meals prepared and calls to eat were done we did get them both seated and eating which kept them around a little bit longer than they might have but both left fairly early.
Egeus was a bit bored upstairs by himself so when he settled in with Bunny for a bit I had him play court to his grandparents and his first cousin to get them all started down the road to friendships.
The party lasted well into the night which allowed Bob and Sierra to join in the fun for awhile, he and Aldric performed some kind of ritualistic dance of death. Eventually however hygiene became an issue and people started to drift out and head home.
As often happens toddlers become children and Egeus had a birthday.
The headmaster was scared by Dorme's nice smile and thought that the addition of naked Granny in the living room was quite stellar.
In the middle of all of the growing up Dorme gave birth to a little girl named Emilia who grew into a skintone four version of her mother but with blond hair. After doing so the rotation was over and I tried to leave the house, but the game crashed while exiting to neighborhood and didn't save.
So we replayed it all, and I repeatedly reloaded in the attempts of getting a girl with no nose but after about twenty reloads of which only two were females I grabbed the next female that appeared, and decided that the nose wasn't as big a deal as the female part was. In the end we were very happy with the elf ears that appeared on the second Emilia Summerdream. Emilia is a Virgo 10/2/7/5/10 the only thing wildly different between her and her brother is that she'll continually be shocked by his naked hot tubbing.
Love Household - Doyle (Familiar) and Felicia Love +1 Eros Love
The only mention that Doyle Familiar has gotten in the official updates so far has been Dallan's comment about his uptight little brother. I'm not sure if I agree with that assessment completely but we will agree that Doyle has had a few issues, don't let the scowl fool ya though he's got 8 nice points.
It's just that Doyle repeatedly had a bit of bad timing and for awhile there it seemed as if every girl he was aiming for was choosing someone else instead. Doyle was in Denise's top three and was a possibility for Dolcelatte London as well but neither worked out. Doyle was the first sim ever in my game to deliver a bag a poo when during a test date with Deirdra London he caught Dolcey on a date with Matthew. Scratch Dierdra off his list as well, good thing cause she was gunning for either Puck or Dante.
But then he met secret society dormie Felicia Love who lived up to her name, tossed him a three bolt smile and a desire to forget 'cousins' once and for all. Felicia is my Heather Walton non zombified and keeping her hair blond.
Now I've commented on the fact that many of my sims precipitated their marriages a bit with a lullaby but Doyle and Felicia set the land speed record, and were trying for a baby on their new couch before the welcome wagon knocked on the door. And while there may have been a few winks and chuckles no one was particularly shocked by the bride being in maternity. It wasn't a shot-gun wedding by any means both Doyle and Felicia had locked wants.
It did however make for an exhausted bride by the end of the day.
I do now have 'proof' however that the family sim twin 'curse' isn't 100% I fully expected twins to pop out and had prepared for the eventuality. But Eros Love (yes I went there) was a single birth, and we all celebrated that fact. Take a good look at him Orikes, genetically he's very similar looks wise to what a Brody/Heather might have created. Eros is a Pisces 5/3/7/3/8 nother semi serious little tyke.
Dreamer Household #3 - Banard and Tara Dreamer, Durin and Didi Dreamer
This household was begun last generation by Banard and Tara Dreamer, while not direct descendants of the legacy family they are included in the played households of the hood. Middle child Didi and her husband Durin (Familiar) are taking over the household at this point.
As a child I was really quite worried about Didi's looks, not as worried as I still am about her brother's but she had facial issues. However once she became an adult she really grew into her face and while not classically beautiful she's uniquely pretty. Husband Durin has his own facial issues that were passed down from his father Cory. We'll see what happens when these two finally produce a lullaby.
Durin is a family sim so I keep expecting to hear one but so far there's been no joy. They seem fine with that though so we'll give them some time, Didi is a fortune sim that wants to top the game development career while Durin is very close to joining the Captain Hero bowling team. For the first time in I think ever I messed up and placed the arch backwards, so rather than sitting in the nice comfortable chairs provided most of the guests stood on the opposite side of the lake to watch the wedding.
Didi hasn't chosen her secondary aspiration yet but I think she like her husband is leaning towards knowledge. They both keep rolling number wants above and beyond those needed for promotions.
The only really interesting thing that happened at the Dreamers this go around was Grim stopped by but not to pick anyone up. He just wanted to hang out, who woulda guessed that he'd be shocked by PDA?
Pleasant Household - Dirk, Lillith and Elsie Pleasant
This is the first generation for this household, neither Dirk nor Lil are direct descendants of the Legacy both being children of sims that married into the extended household. They will however be played along with the rest of the families.
Elsie was introduced as an infant in the baby spam and we started out this rotation with a birthday party in her honor.
Being that Lillith is a popularity sim it was a real party and everyone had a great time till the cops showed up and shut it down. Elsie had gotten her toss already though so everything was good. Elsie's a sweetie, another shy Virgo she clocks in at 10/3/10/6/5 she's looking a lot more like her Dad than her Mom at this point.
In addition to Elsie the Pleasants have adopted a dog, they found Baxter wandering the streets and took him in. Bax is settling in nicely and seems very happy to have himself a bed and some peoples.
Elsie never lost her party fear so the next birthday was a bit quieter, it was the middle of the week and so that was fine with all of us.
Coming home from school the next day she got her welcome wagon in the form of Blade Familiar. The two played some tag, and then hung out for awhile popping Elsie's first friend want. After that she was ready to learn to study. We only got one day with Elsie as a child in the rotation so we'll see how her personality matches up with the other kids in later rotations. She'll be getting a sibling next rotation as well.

And that catches me up to where I've played thus far in the rotation there are about twelve more houses to go, so depending on how the week works out I may have the first rotation wrapped up next weekend at which point I want to play the main house one more time before working on chapter 25. I have parts of it started and a pretty good idea of where everything will be fitting in so I'm not anticipating too long to get it done once I really get started.

Once the graduating and moving in was taken care of sending the two of them on a date rolled up reciprocating wants to get married without fears of marriage, so yeah Goops now Romance/Family which should be interesting to see played out. Very high voltage three bolt stalkers; Drucilla has been overweight since she was a teen and never needed wanted a body skill point or to get fit. Goopy like heavy women so that wasn't a problem but he was in the athletic track and while waiting for his preferred culinary job to become available he went ahead and did some body work which caused Dru to stalk him and autonomously get fit while riding the exercise bike that was beside his weight bench. I left Drucilla pregnant so we'll see what happens when the 'pretty' Indie genes slam up against the Goopsters genes. I predict cuteness.
Familiar Household #5 - Chip and Colette, Darius, Darcy and Evan +2 Eirlys and Emrys Familiar
The household was originally begun by Aaron and Tiffany Familiar and was passed to their son Barclay and wife Meadow. It was then passed on to son Chip and his wife Colette who are the current elder generation. Of their three sons the household has been passed to eldest Darius and his wife Darcy (London).
We talked about Darius and Darcy's wedding in one update and introduced first son Evan in the last baby spam as an infant.
This go around Evan grew up twice! Personality wise Evan is a throw back to his London and Dreamer ancestors he's a Scorpio 10/6/10/0/3. Looks wise he's a good combination of all genes, I see a bunch of his Dad's looks in him which means he's got the 'pretty' genes passed down from Great-Grandmother Meadow.
His welcome wagon was courtesy of Edam Smith and the two boys bonded over fishing. The chess table would have worked just as well but Evan would have cheated continually, besides with so many serious kids in the hood this go round I'm figuring logic will be maxxing out with no help from me, I hate to force skill them when there are other alternatives available Evan wanted to fish and to make a friend two birds one stone.
Family sim twin 'curse' strikes again and we welcomed Emrys and Eirlys to the family. Yay another girl! I can handle twins as long as their are some girls in the mix. Emrys is an Aries 3/10/7/0/10 another serious tyke looking like his Daddy and Eirlys is taking after Mom in appearance but she's the one that grabbed Aaron's happy go lucky Capricorn personality or as close to it as I think I'm gonna get at this point 10/3/3/10/9 a little bit lazy and a little bit shy but she'll be fascinated with tubs either cleaning them or playing in them.
Summerdream Household - Switch from Familiar - Betsy Familiar, Cooper and Kitty Familiar; Puck, Dorme, Egeus Summerdream +1 Emilia Summerdream
The household originally formed by Benjamin Familiar and his Servo bride Betsy which was then passed to one of Ben's alien sprongs Cooper and his wife Kitty the Streaker. It's now been passed to their daughter Dorme and her husband Puck and changed in last name from Familiar to Summerdream. Hands down favorite household to play for a variety of reasons.
It's not just the adorableness of Puck and Dorme, nor the cuteness of Egeus that makes this house fun. It's not even the multitude of spit takes that I get from Kitty's nekkidness. It's all of that but it's also the odd things that just seem to happen around here.
I'd actually only seen this in Toast's apocalypse before never in my game. But Ben was out haunting and caught his wife in bed with her current flame Adam. She got the cheated memory and even had a get slapped icon showing but Ben's ghost never actually slapped her. I was quite amused. Betsy and Adam may very well be getting married and starting their own household at some point during this generation as they've been an item for awhile now, I'm just not sure what to do with them if they do move out of their respective homes and get married.
Ben didn't take well to being cheated on and he went on a bit of a rampage which almost got him moved to the cemetery. A few scares a few puddles don't bother me but dang it Ben, Dorme's pregnant!
Multiple pregnancies were the topic of discussions at the family gathering that weekend, Elle and Emma kept having to fight over the toilets. After several meals prepared and calls to eat were done we did get them both seated and eating which kept them around a little bit longer than they might have but both left fairly early.
Egeus was a bit bored upstairs by himself so when he settled in with Bunny for a bit I had him play court to his grandparents and his first cousin to get them all started down the road to friendships.
The party lasted well into the night which allowed Bob and Sierra to join in the fun for awhile, he and Aldric performed some kind of ritualistic dance of death. Eventually however hygiene became an issue and people started to drift out and head home.
As often happens toddlers become children and Egeus had a birthday.
The headmaster was scared by Dorme's nice smile and thought that the addition of naked Granny in the living room was quite stellar.
In the middle of all of the growing up Dorme gave birth to a little girl named Emilia who grew into a skintone four version of her mother but with blond hair. After doing so the rotation was over and I tried to leave the house, but the game crashed while exiting to neighborhood and didn't save.
So we replayed it all, and I repeatedly reloaded in the attempts of getting a girl with no nose but after about twenty reloads of which only two were females I grabbed the next female that appeared, and decided that the nose wasn't as big a deal as the female part was. In the end we were very happy with the elf ears that appeared on the second Emilia Summerdream. Emilia is a Virgo 10/2/7/5/10 the only thing wildly different between her and her brother is that she'll continually be shocked by his naked hot tubbing.
Love Household - Doyle (Familiar) and Felicia Love +1 Eros Love
The only mention that Doyle Familiar has gotten in the official updates so far has been Dallan's comment about his uptight little brother. I'm not sure if I agree with that assessment completely but we will agree that Doyle has had a few issues, don't let the scowl fool ya though he's got 8 nice points.
It's just that Doyle repeatedly had a bit of bad timing and for awhile there it seemed as if every girl he was aiming for was choosing someone else instead. Doyle was in Denise's top three and was a possibility for Dolcelatte London as well but neither worked out. Doyle was the first sim ever in my game to deliver a bag a poo when during a test date with Deirdra London he caught Dolcey on a date with Matthew. Scratch Dierdra off his list as well, good thing cause she was gunning for either Puck or Dante.
But then he met secret society dormie Felicia Love who lived up to her name, tossed him a three bolt smile and a desire to forget 'cousins' once and for all. Felicia is my Heather Walton non zombified and keeping her hair blond.
Now I've commented on the fact that many of my sims precipitated their marriages a bit with a lullaby but Doyle and Felicia set the land speed record, and were trying for a baby on their new couch before the welcome wagon knocked on the door. And while there may have been a few winks and chuckles no one was particularly shocked by the bride being in maternity. It wasn't a shot-gun wedding by any means both Doyle and Felicia had locked wants.
It did however make for an exhausted bride by the end of the day.
I do now have 'proof' however that the family sim twin 'curse' isn't 100% I fully expected twins to pop out and had prepared for the eventuality. But Eros Love (yes I went there) was a single birth, and we all celebrated that fact. Take a good look at him Orikes, genetically he's very similar looks wise to what a Brody/Heather might have created. Eros is a Pisces 5/3/7/3/8 nother semi serious little tyke.
Dreamer Household #3 - Banard and Tara Dreamer, Durin and Didi Dreamer
This household was begun last generation by Banard and Tara Dreamer, while not direct descendants of the legacy family they are included in the played households of the hood. Middle child Didi and her husband Durin (Familiar) are taking over the household at this point.
As a child I was really quite worried about Didi's looks, not as worried as I still am about her brother's but she had facial issues. However once she became an adult she really grew into her face and while not classically beautiful she's uniquely pretty. Husband Durin has his own facial issues that were passed down from his father Cory. We'll see what happens when these two finally produce a lullaby.
Durin is a family sim so I keep expecting to hear one but so far there's been no joy. They seem fine with that though so we'll give them some time, Didi is a fortune sim that wants to top the game development career while Durin is very close to joining the Captain Hero bowling team. For the first time in I think ever I messed up and placed the arch backwards, so rather than sitting in the nice comfortable chairs provided most of the guests stood on the opposite side of the lake to watch the wedding.
Didi hasn't chosen her secondary aspiration yet but I think she like her husband is leaning towards knowledge. They both keep rolling number wants above and beyond those needed for promotions.
The only really interesting thing that happened at the Dreamers this go around was Grim stopped by but not to pick anyone up. He just wanted to hang out, who woulda guessed that he'd be shocked by PDA?
Pleasant Household - Dirk, Lillith and Elsie Pleasant
This is the first generation for this household, neither Dirk nor Lil are direct descendants of the Legacy both being children of sims that married into the extended household. They will however be played along with the rest of the families.
Elsie was introduced as an infant in the baby spam and we started out this rotation with a birthday party in her honor.
Being that Lillith is a popularity sim it was a real party and everyone had a great time till the cops showed up and shut it down. Elsie had gotten her toss already though so everything was good. Elsie's a sweetie, another shy Virgo she clocks in at 10/3/10/6/5 she's looking a lot more like her Dad than her Mom at this point.
In addition to Elsie the Pleasants have adopted a dog, they found Baxter wandering the streets and took him in. Bax is settling in nicely and seems very happy to have himself a bed and some peoples.
Elsie never lost her party fear so the next birthday was a bit quieter, it was the middle of the week and so that was fine with all of us.
Coming home from school the next day she got her welcome wagon in the form of Blade Familiar. The two played some tag, and then hung out for awhile popping Elsie's first friend want. After that she was ready to learn to study. We only got one day with Elsie as a child in the rotation so we'll see how her personality matches up with the other kids in later rotations. She'll be getting a sibling next rotation as well.

And that catches me up to where I've played thus far in the rotation there are about twelve more houses to go, so depending on how the week works out I may have the first rotation wrapped up next weekend at which point I want to play the main house one more time before working on chapter 25. I have parts of it started and a pretty good idea of where everything will be fitting in so I'm not anticipating too long to get it done once I really get started.
