repurposed e-mail
Sent this to my parents, cut out the relevant parts and am posting it here to, plus adding some stuff. Don't care bout spelling right now.

I'm gong to head into Tokyo tomorrow for my interview. I'll be staying in a hotel this ime, as opposed to an internet cafe as I usualy do, since its cheaper, but because I have the interview, I need to be all nice and clean and showered so I'll be paying the expense. Got a haircut today for it too, even though you'd thin its too long.
Japanese is going well. I don't have actual formal lesons. On saturday, the international exchange association has lessons, but its all done by volunteers and the quality can vary depending on who you get. today, for example, the lady I got (who I actually know and is fine to work with when not distracted) was also helping another guy, much better than me so I didn't get to study grammar as I wanted and I felt it was largely a waste today to have gone. But usually its okay. I almost know 500 kanji, even if only 1 pronunciation usually for each. After I get to 500 exactly, I'll sto for a bit in order to master them. Vocab and each pronunciation, as well as meaning.
Haven't done anything too exciting this week other than that. Its been really humid when its been sunny, but its also the rainy season now so lots of rain too. So there's the two extremes.
One of the pants I have ripped in the washing machine. In the crotch area. That pair had already gotten a huge hole in the pockets so I had to put everything I carried in the left pocket, but now its totally unwearable. Different pair from last time though. I also have a couple shirts that have gotten stained, one simply doesn't have the stains coming out, and the other has whiteboard marker marks (since we have whiteboards, not blackboards, at the current school) on it, as I forgot to put the cap on it one time. Gonna buy a few new shirts anyway.

Finally saw the second season of the sarch jane adventures. Thoughts later, but it has pretty good overall. Also saw the final two serials of the third doctor's first season, with companion Liz Shaw. Not the best season, but not terrible either. (Even the worst story was better than crap like the Krotons, etc.)
Haven't been playing games latl. I dont know why, but Viva Pinata hasnt held my interest this time, as neither has phoenix wright 2. Hmm.
