Polotics and Music and Money and Stuff
So I voted. I applied for an absentee ballot and I got it, filled it out and sent it out. I ended up voting for Obama, and I didn't really know care about the house and senate votes so... Anyway, it wasn't a clear cut vote. I mean, there was no way I'm voting for McCain, so it was between Obama and this one 3rd party candidate (Cynthia McKinney). In the end I voted for Obama over McKinney because while I don't agree with everything Obama thinks, I don't agree with everything McKinney stands for either, but the big thing was there were some things I couldn't find where she stood on. (Plus, NJ is gonna vote Obama anyway.)
So I got the new BeForU album. Good stuff. Shame its so short. (Their shortest album yet-- 10 songs, one of which I still can't stand, even when it was on their single.) Glad to have the new album though! It just came today, and I'm still listening to it! (Surprised? Didn't think so.)
In other news, I bought some more stuff off the Japanese iTunes. Like the full/real English versions of 1000 Words/Real Emotion sung by Jade from Sweetbox. Not the Kumi Koda Engrish versions. So I'm happy about that.
I still have those damn traveler's cheques for $1000 I can't cash. I think I'm just gonna send them home and have dad cash them, then deposit the money in my American bank account, which I can access from Japan, or on the travel money card I have, which I can also access from Japan. But I need to do something, I have bills to pay and the post office bank (which I just made an account for today) won't do it. Also, the banks are only open while I'm in work (no weekend banking!?) so I can't go then-- if there was even a branch around me. I have to call my parents about this plan though. Hope they go for it.
So I haven't really been following an gaming news lately. I guess having to gaming systems kills the desire to follow the latest news. Doesn't help that Final Fantasy IV is uber dull and Tales of Eternia PSP is probably the hardest game in the series yet. I do still plan to get an Xbox here though.
So basically I'm doing alright, still pretty lazy and all that. Work is fine, etc. etc. Popsicle.
