The last update of the great midwest tour

So I don't think I've updated since Sunday morning.  Sunday was a lot of fun.  We went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  We got to see everything from Michael Jackson's glove to the Beach Boys Surfboard.  It was really cool.  Then I went to the Great Lakes Science Museum next door to the hall of fame.  It was a lot like Discovery Place.  I walked around and played with all the exhibits before seeing and IMAX movie (my first I think.)  The movie was on the Tour de France and the power of the brain.  I loved it!  But the last ten minutes were painful for me...I got really motion sick.  But I recovered after a cold drink from the cafe.  Then I left the museum and went on a walking tour of the city.  (My coworker had gone to see her inlaws).  I didn't really have any direction, but I was intending to walk until I saw someplace good to eat.  I walked and walked and walked...until I started to get dehydrated and feel kinda faint.  Then, finally, I saw a restaurant after walking for almost two hours.  It was a crowded Irish pub.  So I ate there and it was OK.  Then I went home and recovered.

Yesterday we found a cafe and hung out for the morning until our afternoon interviews, which went really well.  The couples were sweet and cool.  Afterwards we got in the van and went looking for "little italy."  We found it and it was really cool...quaint and artsy and full of little Italian restaurants.  We ate a wonderful meal at La Dolce Vita.  One of the best meals we had...and we've had a lot of good food.

Today we are going to walk around the city a little more, there is still one area we haven't explored which we've been told is cool.  Then we have one last interview.  After that we leave!  We plan to drive halfway back tonight (about 5 hours) to Charleston, WV.  Then tomorrow morning we will finish the trip.  I should be home in the afternoon.

SO, are there definite plans for tomorrow?

Let me know!  I can't wait!
