Notes: This is an actual drabble. I made the 100 words on the nose. No one is more surprised about that than me.
Gunnery Sargeant Nick Kincaid alternatively picked at the non-existent piece of lint on his sleeve and pulled at the too tight collar of his dress blues. He was trying to think of something reassuring to say to Jethro. After all, the man was his best friend. They'd been through seven kinds of hell and back together. The least he could do was impart some words of wisdom to help his best friend out.
Sadly, the words he had were neither wise nor comforting.
"I guess it won't be so bad. I mean how bad can getting married really be, right?"
