New Name fireflyfaninnc to ncb1
I'm ncb1 now. It's a bit more of a generic name and one I use in forums around the net. I've thought about it for a while and I finally had the where with all to sit down and do it.
Not much going on in my life except work and a few trips to Raleigh. The first was for a long overdue 21st Birthday outing for my daughter. We went to see "Little Shop of Horrors" the last weekend in September. After dinner at our favorite Irish Pub, Tir Na Nog, we also went to the Berkley and saw some amazing blues musicians.
Last week was a bit rough with the constant rain and flooding in this area (and dear daughter had mid terms all week) so we went to Raleigh again for the International Festival this Saturday. Had a wonderful time, ate a lot of good food, did a small bit of mother/daughter fall retail therapy.
Now it's fall and time to do the semi annual "closet swap" when I take my warm weather clothes out of the closet, tote them up to the attic, tote my fall/winter clothes down and put them in my closet. I dread it every year but this year I am going to purge my clothes and donate to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. I did it when I moved but I've started to accumulate "stuff" again. And it's just "stuff"
