Update and Meme
Not much has been going on during the dog days of summer between my vacation in Washington, DC and Dragon Con except that I'm working hard. Lots of changes at work as people shuffle around a bit and new people come in but most of the changes have been positive.
I'm also planning to write some soon. Like tonight. I haven't had the time in the last few months and I keep coming up with excuses. Not now. I'm going to make myself sit down and write. I have a Happily Ever After True Blood fic in my brain (no, I'm not telling you who every one ends up with but if you know me you know who the central character is).
I also have a kernel of a Firefly fic. No one has ever done a fic about how Mal ends up with Serenity. I think I have a pretty good idea. You'll just have to wait and see.
I cannot wait for Dragon Con. I'll see friends that I only see there (but converse with on that new fangled thing called the internet), and I have friends I've never seen before from both the Firefly fandom and Bill's Wik'd Women (a Bill centric True Blood fan site) coming. I'm going to be busy.
Also, Dragon Con is the site of the premiere of a long awaited film that I had a small part in as an extra. Browncoats: Redemption is premiering at the Peach Tree Westin Ballroom on Saturday at 7 p.m. (and streaming on the internet) Afterwards, there will be a "Mighty Fine Shindig" in the same ballroom. I'm sure that it's going to be one of the best parties ever.

B - BREAST SIZE: depends on if the brand/style of bra I like hasn't been discontinued-right now I'm an athletic 38B

E - ESSENTIAL MAKE-UP ITEM: powder foundation. I love the new mineral powders -I hate the liquid kind

H - HOMETOWN: raised in Wilmington, NC but now live in the town my Mom's family is from, Washington, NC

K - KIDS: 21 year old daughter that's attending community college and living at home. I love her to death
L - LIVING ARRANGEMENTS: Renting but have my family's house for sale. I own 1/4 of it with my brother and 2 cousins.
M - MOM'S BIRTHPLACE: Washington, NC, where I now live
N - NIGHT OWL: Usually up until Craig Ferguson is on but some nights I can barely make it.
O - OVERNIGHT HOSPITAL STAYS: One, when I had my daughter.
P - PHOBIA: No crippling ones but I really don't like bees

R - RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION: Cradle Episcopalian I love the rhythm and ritual but I rarely attend church. I believe though
S - SIBLINGS: One brother, almost exactly 2 years younger than I am but he thinks he knows everything.
T - TIME YOU WAKE UP: 6:45 during the week but not out of bed until 7:30. Weekends it's more like 10:00
U - UNNATURAL HAIR COLORS YOU'VE WORN: No weird ones but I did over do the blond highlights one time and it ended up almost red
V - VEGETABLE YOU REFUSE TO EAT: Love most of them except exotic ones
W - WORST HABIT: Hem and haw and then make an impulsive decision
X - X-RAYS YOU'VE HAD: Teeth of course, left arm and wrist (broken arm), right wrist (not broken), toes on both feet x-rayed and broken
