i am gonna get this livejournal thing together. i wasn't lying about posting again but then the semester started and i've been trying to be a good student and goto class everyday and on time. i need practice being on time for the "real world" and workforce waiting for me once i graduate FOR REAL THIS DECEMBER.
spanish is the only class i need but to keep my grants/loans/insurance i need to be full-time. my classes are:
- Intermediate Spanish II
- Biological Anthropology: Primate Adaptation and Evolution (?)
- Beginning Japanese I
- Japanese Culture Through Film
- World Civilization: Japan
Spanish, shouldn't be hard considering I didn't find it to be crazy hard before, but whatever I did think was difficult (stupid subjuntivo) I guess I understand now and 2nd time is the charm. The downside is that it is at 7:45am. That will be horrible once it's super dark in the morning, ugh. Biological anthro. I'm taking just because. It's taught by a instructor that I think is a good teacher and I get to look at bones/fossils again! I missed biology... I took bio I, II, marine, and aquatic in high school because I loved it so much. I wanted to be a bio. major but, idk, they would have made me do math, and that isn't cool. Japanese is easy so far and probably will continue to be. We're learning hiragana and how to tell time!!!! I'm beyond that. Not that I'm close to fluent but I think I could have at least tested into beginning II or intermediate as long as there wasn't a speaking test. I suck at speaking any language I've learned (Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese), although comprehension and listening are pretty good... good enough to test me out of beginning I. But its an easy A, I guess, and it's best to reenforce what I do know if I want to get better. World civ. is always easy. Japanese Cult. Through Film will be cool.... we get to watch some anime, for which I am always down!
Anywho, that's all. I'm bored so I might post later just because. First week of school was a success!
