Whip It | Bass Monroe/Charlie Matheson | whipped cream | E | The cake had a definite lean, Charlie noted with a panicked squeak. She had tried to even it up with extra frosting, but that haddn’t helped the increasingly precipitous angle. She was going to have to call him. She had vowed not to, couldn’t even figure out what a Marine would know about birthday cakes, but Nora had insisted on putting the guy’s number in her phone just in case, and yeah … this probably qualified as the sort of case she’d been worried about ( ... )

Aaand we did it! :) Also, this was delicious and hilarious. I'll read the full version after lunch, which I'm about to have. :)

You and Hith are definitely the MVPs of this year's Prompt Table.

Thank you so much for writing all that lovely Bass/Charlie (with occasional Nora and Miles) smut - it's not a proper table without smut.

There always needs to be a fill that can make you laugh, or go quiet, or sigh, or cry, or heat your blood... and I think you managed to cover a lot of those bases just on your lonesome. So well done you :D

Such sweet words. I love prompt tables and I think I like them because they make me follow those tiny little trains of thought that would usually get ignored. Smut is easy for me (I write a lot of it), but for me to write sweet or funny is actually unusual, and things like this help me do that, so I'll always be a sucker for your tables :D Thank you for the hard work of organising AND writing more than a few things yourself :D

Thank you for being awesome and ensuring we didn't end on a fail. That woulda sucked. I don't know if the Comm'll ever have the stamina to complete another prompt table, so this might be it (although saying this is the last one makes me pout). Reading all these little wonderings has been so so much better than reading that stupid comic...but we wouldn't have a reason to have the table without it. So I guess I'm grateful it happened *makes squinty face*...

You're welcome! :) And thank you for putting this together: I wrote almost 4,000 words with all the prompts, which I almost definitely wouldn't have without having this sort of motivation. :)
