I just made orgasmic chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, these have to be some of the best of the best I've ever made.

(Or maybe it's just been so long since I last made them that I've forgotten...)I started with a supreme goof, however. I intended all along to double the batch, but while I was talking to Heather, I accidentally added FOUR times

LOL, my cookies are very soft and chewy. If they were the crispy kind, they'd mail better, but I love me some soft, stringy chocolate. Mmmmm!

As for the picture, I'll think about it. ;-)

Is it a secret?

I haven't made any chocolate chip cookies lately because I don't have any brown sugar. I use all brown sugar instead of white because it gives them a richer color.

It's a secret for folks that I might actually be able to give cookies to in person. I don't really give it out to people that I know because I like to give them the actual cookies instead! One year, a friend of mine had begged for the recipe for months and months. For Christmas, I gave her a copy of the recipe and a brand-new Pampered Chef cookie scoop to go with. She LOVED it, and she made the cookies probably twice a week for many months afterward (her hubby would literally scarf them down that fast!). However, then she went loony and after our friendship was over, she went around everywhere bragging about HER cookies and HER great recipe.

You think she'd feel lousy on the inside, wouldn't you, since - if nothing else - SHE knows that's not true, and how hard must it be to lie to YOURSELF?

But yeah. Since you're not around here and the chances are slim that I'll ever have a chance to give you cookies in person, I don't mind shooting you my recipe. Watch your email. :-)
