Cookies.
I just made orgasmic chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, these have to be some of the best of the best I've ever made.
(Or maybe it's just been so long since I last made them that I've forgotten...)
I started with a supreme goof, however. I intended all along to double the batch, but while I was talking to Heather, I accidentally added FOUR times the sugar. Since it was already mixed in, I had no choice but to go back and add twice as much of the other ingredients I'd already put in, and then I halved it and set aside half to make another time. I continued with the rest of the ingredients then, and they came out perfectly.
So I have to finish baking the rest of this double batch, and then I'm going to have another double batch to complete and bake in the next couple of days. I see myself giving away lots of cookies very soon!
But yeah - they're just THAT good. Which is really great, actually, as otherwise it's quite the dry spell around here. *naughty wink*
