aside from the frequent spouts with my mother, everything has been going beyond smoothly.
more than music fest was cancelled. blah blah. i was supposed to set up a house show after more than music on friday night for the kids in zombie zombie, but due to said cancellation, that didn't work out so well. they came into town friday morning anyway, and we hung out all day. i really enjoyed their company, they make me smile. i ended up getting them on a less-desirable bill at bernies, but the show was still fun. and silly. "fuck it."
the rest of the weekend was mostly spent working. hand-painting numbers and letters on the sides of swimming pools, usually consisting of 5 FT NO DIVING. this task was above all draining, and i acquired a reasonable amount of sunburn.
this morning i got a more permanent job, one i think i'll actually enjoy. i start tomorrow. fucking excitement!
