Lilydale, where psychics and crazies abide.

So, I went to Lilydale with my mom and grandma, where we met up with my cousin and aunt. Now, while my mom and cousin and aunt went to this Ghost Hunters talk thing (which I guess was really cool. If you don't know what it is, they follow around a groups called TAPS who uses scientific means to debunk hauntings, and it's really creepy when they actually catch things that cannot be explained at all), my grandma was having a medium reading. Now, the difference between a psychic and a medium is that mediums have contact with the dead. Whether or not this guy was for real, I don't know, but I enjoyed sitting there on the porch of a peaceful cafe, saying hello to strangers and listening to the ethereal wind chimes swinging in the breeze. That bliss lasted for about twenty minutes.
Her reading was for an hour.

I got bored real fast.

The rest of the time was spent wandering around the gift shops where I swear they are insane. $40 for a glass crystal suncatcher thing? No. Everything is centered around spiritualism there. While going into the bathroom, my mom thought she accidentally walked in on some woman because the door hadn't been locked. This woman -think Trelawny, HP fans- said that one must be open to all things in Lilydale, and grandly directed my mother inside of the one-room bathroom. Yeah. I almost wish that could have been me so I could have had a really interesting moment. I love meeting strange people.

Everything else was just... boring. Nice, but boring. I didn't go seek out some psychic because I don't need to know anything, or have super vague interpretations of maybe who I am. Like, I'm open to the concepts, but I want to know what's going to happen or how things are around certain people, and I won't trust an expensive guesser to help me out there.

Other than that, everything's good. Sorta.
It's like, everything outside of me is fine. People have issues that only they can deal with. But my mind is just cloudy. I don't know if it's from lack of sleep, getting too much sleep, not eating well, whatever. And I have a really bad bug bite on my elbow that's swollen and hurts like I slammed it against something.
Oh wells.
