Hmm it changes depending on how long you've been there, whether you're working nightshift/dayshift or weekends... probationary salary is $15.15/hr (for 3 months), then base salary is $19/hr. Time and a half on saturday, double on sunday, double for overtime, and double and a half on public holidays.
I was talking to one of the guys from the academy before mine and he said he's raking in about $2000/fortnight on probationary salary because he's doing lots of night shift, overtime and weekend work.
What are you doing these days btw? I haven't seen you (and just about everyone else) in ages!
Hmmm. I'd have expected it to be a little higher, with the speed of mental arithmetic you guys need to do - it's not a job they can just pull anyone in off the street to do!
... not to mention the huge margins the casino draws in. The penalty rates are nice though.
I'm still working at iiNet for the time being. Got a couple of things planned there on the horizon - and if they work out, great. If not, I'll probably be looking for employment at a smaller company.
