Hello internoodle land, how's your week been?
I blitzed through my academy assessments this week, I am officially a croupier as of Monday, which means I am officially getting paid, hurrah! I'm surprised at how the last meager drops of savings have managed to stretch over the month-or-more of unemployment. Free meals at Burswood certainly help, I mooch off that canteen like my life depends on it. Which it does. Because I can't afford groceries.
Sometimes it's really nice to be ill (oh, throat infection take #427!), especially after two weeks of hard work staving off infection. I'm out of action this weekend, you will find me reading in the bath, sucking down orange strepsils <3.
On a side note, who else is going to Something For Kate next weekend? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
