Workshop
I'm trying to plan a one hour workshop for lay leaders about Children's Ministry. It's reminding me of trying to write a one page paper on the entire Bible.
I have to give it twice - district level training workshops - and I don't have a real clear set of parameters, just to help laity understand the importance of having theologically sound CM practices.
Found a great acronym - KISMIF - Keep it Simple, Make it FUn. Now, granted that was directed at how you should do activities with young children, but it seems to me a pretty good strategy for workshops too.
