She was gone this morning when I awoke, leaving behind delicate traces of herself. I told her I would not arrest her for her crimes but if she continues to leave evidence scattered so carelessly, I may have to reconsider my opinion. It is wrong of me to think of her in chains, subject to my whim; the blame would be hers if she allowed such a thing.
