Status: Not dead yet.

Music final is done! Huzzah! Did fairly well, I think. Didn't fail, at any rate. That's a load off my shoulders.

Still left: one oral exam (guh), one Psych final that I have some time to study for! And, hopefully, some time to sleep before last night's three hours' sleep catches up with me.

It's rather soothing to sit down, take a good look at all the work you have to do, and realize that, contrary to previous belief, it is actually physically possible to finish everything on time. Hmmm. This semester is turning out to be a good one, I think. Some points of happiness:

• I'm really enjoying my classes this semester. In the past, I kind of dreaded my classes--it was, 'dammit, I have to wake up' or 'dammit, I have to do homework' or 'dammit, my grade is partly based on class participation and I don't know what to say and I'm ( Read more... )

Large pile of library books obtained for break (topics: Norse mythology, the Apocolypse, the Devil, and Shakespeare).

Not dead.

The revised Tempest story is finished and proofread; I'm rather happy with the way it turned out (except the second section, which still hates me despite extensive rewriting). This calls for a celebration! And by celebration, I mean nap. I'll sleep until 8:30, which leaves me about eight hours to write my six-to-ten-page Grendel's Workshop paper ( Read more... )

Well. The experiment I had to write up for Psych was much less painful than I thought once I gathered up the courage to actually look at the data and try interpreting it. And I have time for five hours of sleep! I'll certainly have to pull an all-nighter tomorrow night, but at least I'll get some sleep beforehand.
