Here are some of the wedding reception pics. It was held at the
Burlington Convention Center, which is owned by Dan's two uncles. (Dan's late dad, Paulo, was their brother.) The bride's mom is their sister. So they spared no expense. This was one lavish wedding.
(The red eye reducer on this camera is so useless, I'm tempted to return it, and get a slightly better one. This camera makes EVERYONE look like satan spawn!)
I took this at Montana's restaurant, where Rick (on the right) took us after him and Dan showed up 3 hours late. I was still seething pissed, and told them to "look guilty". Of course, they don't, lol! (Rick is dating Dan's sister Claudia.) This was the night before the wedding.
And here is me at Montana's. I am shooting angry death lasers from my eyes at Dan.
I look so sad here! But I think I was just kind of squinting, because the sun was in my eyes. I'm in Rick's car, and we were on the way to the wedding. I truly wasn't in a good mood, but I didn't realize it was so evident on my face!
My hunky, if annoying, boyfriend, Dan. ;P It looks like one lens on his glasses are broken, but it's just the way it's reflecting the windshield. Strange.
Dan won our centerpiece by getting up on his chair and dancing around like an idiot, lol! (As per the dj's instruction.) At the end of the night, Dan took the vase out to the car, and tossed the flowers on the way! I was so upset, as he had said I could have them. He didn't even save me one. Hmph.
(The next day, Claudia took me out in their yard, and cut a bunch of flowers for me to put in the vase! Roses, and fern leaves, and orchids. That was a really sweet gesture!)
I love my boyfriend's smile! This is him with an older cousin, but she's more like an aunt.
Here is Rick, with Dan's little cousins, Jonathan (left) and little Paulo, who was born right after Dan's dad passed away, and named after him, too. These two kids were so well behaved, and so cute!
Dan and his older sister Claudia. (Rick's girlfriend.) She was a bridesmaid.
This was a Portuguese/Macedonian wedding, and this is the Greek part, where they did this dance, carrying a stuffed roasted whole pig with a pear in it's mouth, drinking from wine bottles, and whooping it up. Everyone put dollar bills on the skewers. I originally had a bit of the music recorded with this photo, but it came out garbled. Poo.
This is the only picture I got of Dan's 16 year old sister, Tania! I tried and tried, but she dodged the camera every time, lol!
The bride (Dan's cousin, Fatima) and groom (Bill.) Rick took this pic, and didn't know how to use my camera, so it's not very clear.
