Creative people who have drawn his professional eye, and who he's helped out in the past - that is, one of the musical artists he's signed and helped bump up into the public eye. He likes leaning on that debt and collecting favours from his little stars afterwards. [OPEN] Requirements: Male or female. He's probably slept with the female ones if he could. Just sayin'. Not necessarily only musicians, either; it's possible that Noah's pulled strings to hook people up with connections in the movie, modelling, and stage businesses.
modern world. He grew up in San Francisco, and only moved to New York six years ago, when he had to take on the mantle of librarianship. So, is there anyone who'd know him from high school or university in California? [OPEN]
grounds for divorce. The ex who pretty much flayed him emotionally. Noah's surprisingly good with stable relationships once he settles down, but this woman wounded him by suddenly leaving - and leaving him behind. It's been a while since they broke up, so naturally, the man tries to pretend he's quite all right, but the truth is that he's still fragile around her. [prehensility]
we built another world. Every man needs his drinking buddies. A comforting web of testosterone? Uh, you tell me. Either way, they're his friends. [dontcallmespot, toppered, rubythrone, griffinthemouse, antibyron]
fancy claps. People who cruise in his general social vicinity, and he'll often bump into them at parties and functions and things. Movies, television, and music are the heavy hitters here. Noah wouldn't call them friends, but they're friendly acquaintances from the industry, and he's comfortable schmoozing with them. [wishboned, sleeproot, OPEN]
same ghost every night. Yeah, even though he's an Atheneum librarian, Noah can't help the fact that he pays attention to the ladies. There are several women he's taken a particular liking to, and quite enjoys flirting with them, but he's oddly wary of amping it up to anything more. shine a light. Okay, and here are the women he's actually gone the distance for. Every relationship is individual, but more often than not, it'll manifest itself as either no-strings-attached nights together, or vague and turbulent on-again off-again dealios. dear sons and daughters. His Aesopean fables, from the Cat to Donkey to Serpent. Noah has a very hands-off approach to his librarian duties, and often disappears to California or Las Vegas on mundy duty rather than remain at everyone's beck and call. Strangely enough, his relaxed attitude means that a lot of tales like him as a librarian. He's not as world-weary as Anser and Patricia, but not as wet behind the ears as Velvet. [Lots.]

i'll believe in anything. Something different: a powerful friendship wherein Noah plays the role of older brother. Either male or female - if the latter, though, it's definitely platonic. They're probably quick-witted and precocious, and the two of them trade in snark just as often as Noah gets protective and growly over them. Something special endears them to the wolf, and it's something that reminds him of his younger brother. [thelionraines]
it's a curse. Ugh. Ugh. Ezekiel Raub is another wolf, and occupies a role somewhere between 'brother' and 'nemesis'. Noah sees a lot of himself in the man, and he sees his own potential, but he also sees what he's trying very, very hard to get away from being. Easy goads him back into that violent, animalistic state, and Noah does not like it. [xwhatbigteethx]
dinner bells. Noah isn't precisely a villain, but a part of him used to be, once upon a time. It means he gets along with Marie fabulously, and is strangely capable of tempering the dangerous woman. They're friends. Highly dysfunctional friends who couldn't communicate properly if their lives depended on it, and they hammer each other's buttons when they're mad at each other, but it works. this heart's on fire. Well. Someone who has honestly, genuinely captured the wolf's interest, and for something more important than a short fling. [TBA]
