Scuba-rific
Ok. Today was my final dive for scuba. It was even colder than yesterday morning, and my fingers were so numb that my instructor had to take my bcd off of me. It was a really nice day, and Steilacoom is a really nice little town right off the water. Everything there is really pretty, especially the old buildings. There were a lot of cool things to see, even though it was just Sunnyside beach in Steilacoom. I got three feet away from an octopus, and I’d never seen one up close before. I almost didn’t make it through the final tests, but everything turned out fine and now I’m open-water certified! Just one more way to experience and appreciate the ocean.
Aiee! Although, I didn't make it to church in time to teach my class! I had to wait in the scuba shop to return the rentals, since they needed my picture for the file and since I didn't have one and Ray was out of polaroid film he had to go get some. That makes two weeks in a row...
When I came home, I found out that everyone had been watching home movies, and that Eric decided to drag my beanbag out of my room and have a make-out session with Janine on it. Ew. Why couldn't he have made out on the couch, or the floor?! Oh man.
