Hey… it’s John Deere Day!!

Oh Geez. A lot happened yesterday. I just woke up. First of all, it was my first time going to John Deere day. Since everyone has President’s day off every year, Al Sarah and Patty always spend the whole day in Seattle and around the waterfront. So that’s what we did.
I love Seattle. Just the grunge and familiarity and the skyscrapers and old buildings and detail and natural mixture, and combinations of hip and homeless people and the occasional odd tourist… it’s just a jumble of diversity, and I revel in it. I could just sit and watch. Everything. Especially the people.
We all had a lot of fun walking around and taking lots of pictures, and Al hit on every guy we could find who reached ‘babe’ status. The science center was good too. I finally rode the tram for the first time! Great view.
By the time we got home, everyone was exhausted. Al had to go home, but the rest of us stuck together. However, we still went fhe, which wasn’t the brightest idea since as soon as we got there I went and fell asleep on the couch. Patty wasn’t feeling so good, so she quickly joined suit. We didn’t stay long, and went back to Sarah’s house to watch a movie and go to sleep.
It was cold, so we all grabbed blankets and jumped on the couches. Sarah and Patty on one, and since Will was home he came and sat on the other one with me. Halfway through the movie everyone was asleep except for Will and me, so we just stayed up talking till around 5:30 the next morning. It was really nice; I love getting to know people, and before last night I hardly knew anything about him at all. We sat really close to stay warm, and I could feel him breathing right next to me. Mm.

Oh. Today is my dad's birthday, and he's 52. I made him an apple-pear pie with '52' carved in the crust.
