Chickens pecking at eggs
My housemates and I have four chickens in the backyard that have been consistently laying 2-3 eggs a day for the last 2 months since we got them. However, the littlest hen has been hanging around the coop and pecking at the eggs. Is there any way to prevent this? I have an inkling that we might not be feeding them enough, but I'm not sure if more feed will necessarily stop the hens from eating the eggs. Any thoughts?
